Delete in the app (immediate)
- Open HOAHub and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
Request deletion without the app
Email jamesag@jgstudiosph.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "HOAHub account deletion", and tell us your community name. We will verify the request came from the account owner and delete the account.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account and profile (name, email).
- Your forum posts and comments, including the comments under your posts and the photos attached to your posts.
- Your list of blocked members.
- Your notification settings and device push tokens.
- Your membership record in each community you belong to.
- Your link to your unit. The unit is released, and the contact details stored on it (name, email, phone) are cleared, so it can be claimed again.
What is kept, and why
Records that belong to your homeowners' association as the data controller may be kept by the association as required for its operations and legal obligations. These include dues and payment records you submitted (and any receipt images attached to them), service requests, visitor logs, violations and incident reports. After deletion these records no longer link to a name or email. Support requests you filed with us are also kept. Content reports you filed, or that concern your posts or comments, are kept for community moderation; reports about your posts or comments no longer show your name or the reported text. Contact your HOA administrator about association records. See our Privacy Policy for your rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Backups
Deleted data can remain in our point-in-time recovery backups for up to 7 days; our service providers' own backup systems follow their own retention schedules. Crash reports are linked to an anonymous account ID and contain no name, email or other account content; they are kept for up to 90 days.
